League of Legends patch 7.12: Big Singed changes, plus Order & Chaos skins


League of Legends' next big content patch is 7.12, introducing the Order & Chaos conflict and respective skins for Yasuo and Riven, as well as a host of balance and bug fixes. Singed is getting a minor rework while support items have big targets on their backs. Have a look below for all the information we've got, straight from the PBE.
LoL Patch 7.12 Release Date And Downtime
We don't know the exact release date for patch 7.12 yet, but the schedule is bi-weekly so expect it on Wednesday June 14. With E3 going on, it's possile we may have a longer patch schedule than normal, pushing it back a week. We'll update when Riot do, but keep an eye on the server maintenance page for the latest updates.

LoL Patch 7.12 Balance Changes

That out of the way, let’s start with the really important bit, shall we? What you need to remember is that stuff on the PBE like this is neither guaranteed to happen, nor to be in the next patch even if it does. This is what the folks over at Riot are thinking about doing. We’ve got the numbers on what’s changing, and a general guideline on which way each champion, item, mastery, summoner spell or rune is moving.

Patch 7.12 Champion Changes

Ivern - nerfed

Ivern balance changes
  • Triggerseed (E)
    • Damage decreased to 50/70/90/110/130 from 60/90/120/150/180

Karma - nerfed

Karma balance changes
  • Inspire (E)
    • Shield decreased to 70/95/120/145/170 from 70/100/130/150/160/190 
  • Mantra Bonus - Defiance (R+E)
    • % of original shield given to nearby allies decreased to 30% from 50% 

Singed - changed

Singed balance changes
  • Poison Trail (Q)
    • Total damage changed to 45-125 from 44-140
    • AP ratio increased to 80% from 60% 
  • Fling (E)
    • Mana cost decreased to 70/85/100/115/130 from 100/110/120/130/140
    • % of Target Max Health as magic damage changed to 6% at all ranks from 6/6.5/7/7.5/8%
    • Now scales [2% per 100 AP]
  • Insanity Potion (R)
    • Mana cost decreased to 100 at all ranks from 150
    • Stat bonus changed to 30/60/90 from 35/50/80
    • Stat bonus duration changed to 15/20/25 seconds from 25 at all ranks
    • New: Poison Trail's cloud duration is also doubled.

Patch 7.12 Item Changes

Abyssal Mask changed
  • Build path changed:
    • Now: Catalyst + Negatron Cloak + 1080g
    • Combine cost increased to 1080 from 880 
    • Total Cost increased to 2900 from 2800 
  • Magic Resist decreased to 55 from 65 
  • Removed: 100% Base Health Regen
  • Added:
    • 300 Mana
    • Unique Passive: Eternity - 15% of damage taken from champions is gained as Mana. Spending Mana restores 20% of the cost as Health, up to 25 per spell cast.
Ancient Coin changed
  • Added: 50 mana
  • Removed: 5% cooldown reduction
Athene's Unholy Grail changed
  • Ability power decreased to 30 from 40 
  • % Base Mana regen increased to 100% from 75% 
  • Cooldown reduction decreased to 10% from 20% 
  • Blood earn rate increased to 25% from 20% 
  • Passive renamed from Harmony to Dissonance and:
    • Removed: 25% Base Health Regen for every 25% Base Mana Regen
    • Added: 5 ability power for every 25% Base Mana Regen
    • Cannot coexist with Harmony
Banner of Command changed
  • Recipe changed:
    • New: Aegis of the Legion + Raptor Cloak + 200g
    • Old: Aegis of the Legion + Glacial Shroud + 100g
  • Removed: 400 mana
  • Added:
    • 125% base health regen
    • Unique Passive: Point Runner
      • Builds up to +20% over 2 seconds while near turrets, fallen turrets and Void Gates.
Doran's Ring - changed
  • Passive is now unique.
Doran's Shield - nerfed
  • Cost increased to 450g from 400 
Eye of the Oasis changed
  • Added: 100 mana
  • % Base Health Regen decreased to 100% from 125% 
Glacial Shroud changed
  • Recipe changed:
    • New: Cloth Armor + Sapphire Crystal + 250g
    • Old: Cloth Armor + Sapphire Crystal + 350g
  • Armor decreased to 20 from 25 
  • Combine costs for Iceborn Gauntlet and Frozen Heart both increased by 100g to compensate.
Knight's Vow changed
  • Recipe changed:
    • New: Kindlegem + Chain Vest + 600g
    • Old: Crystalline Bracer + Chain Vest + 850g
    • Total cost decreased to 2200 from 2300 
  • Removed: 100% Base Health Regen
  • Added: 10% cooldown reduction
Locket of the Iron Solari changed
  • Shield amount changed to [65 - 575 (+15% Bonus Health)] from [70 - 665] 
Nomad's Medallion changed
  • Added: 100 mana
  • Removed: 10% cooldown reduction
Raptor's Cloak - changed
  • Recipe changed:
    • New: Rejuvenation Bead + Cloth Armor + 450g
    • Old: Rejuvenation Bead + Chain Vest + 250g
    • Cost decreased to 900 from 1200
  • Armor decreased to 30 from 40
  • Ohmwrecker and Zz'Rot Portal combine costs increased by 300g to compensate
Redemption - changed
  • Health decreased to 250 from 300 
  • % Base Health Regen decreased to 50% from 75% 
  • % Base Mana Regen increased to 150% from 125%
  • Heal amount decreased to [10 + 20 per target's level] from [40 + 25 per target's level] 
  • Added: Redemption's heal amount is affected 3 times as much by "Heal and Shield Power" amplifiers
Righteous Glory - changed
  • Recipe changed:
    • New: Glacial Shroud + Crystalline Bracer + 950g
    • Old: Catalyst + Crystalline Bracer + 750g
  • Health decreased to 400 from 500 
  • Added:
    • 30 armor
    • 10% cooldown reduction
  • Removed: Catalyst passive
  • Active's slow nova will now automatically trigger if an enemy champion is within close proximity. Cannot be manually triggered.
Talisman of Ascension - changed
  • Recipe changed:
    • New: Nomad's Medallion + Glacial Shroud + 425g
    • Old: Nomad's Medallion + Raptor Cloak + 350g
    • Cost decreased to 2200 from 2400 
  • % Base Health Regen decreased to 50% from 175% 
  • Armor decreased to 40 from 45 
  • Added: 400 Mana
  • Removed: Point Runner
Zeke's Harbinger reworked!
  • Now:
  • Total cost: 2400g
    • Recipe: Glacial Shroud + Aegis + 400g
  • Stats:
    • 60 armor
    • 30 magic resist
    • 250 mana
    • 10% cooldown reduction
  • Unique Active - Conduit: Bind to target ally (0 second cooldown)
  • Unique Passive: Casting your ultimate near your ally summons a local frost storm for 10 seconds. As the storm rages, nearby enemies are slowed by 20% and your ally's attacks burn their targets for 60% bonus magic damage over 2 seconds (45 second cooldown)
    • Frostfire Covenant - Attacking a burning enemy ingites your frost storm for 3 seconds, searing enemies inside for 50 magic damage per second and increasing the slow to 40%.

LoL Patch 7.12 New Skins

Second most important: cosmetics. Lovely, gorgeous cosmetics. Bit more of a visual medium this, so we’ve grabbed the best videos of each skin, as well as a lovely pic or two. Some are relatively simple changes, while others are total reworks of every part of the champion outside the gameplay numbers - new VO, new animations, new particles and the rest. It’s generally defined by how much they cost, so we’ve detailed that as well.

Dawnbringer & Nightbringer Wards

As with most new skin releases, new wards are accompanying them. It's a bumper offering this patch thanks to the Order vs. Chaos

There's also a load more themed content coming via the missions system. This will be the first big deployment for that, so expect a few bugs. S@20 have a full breakdown of how it all works and, as you might expect in 2017, it's ludicrously complicated.

LoL Patch 7.12 Login Screen

Each patch has its own login screen with unique music. They're always fairly excellent, though 7.12's hasn't appeared yet - expect it in the next week or so. It will likely be based around the Order & Chaos conflict.

Patch 7.12 Honor System

Huge changes coming to Honor (and Runes, as we covered) this patch. There's a full breakdown over on the Riot forums.

Blood Moon Rotating Game Mode

Looks like Blood Moon will be heading back into the rotating game mode pool soon, as it's back on PBE for testing. Here's Riot's post about it.
